INSPECTION.
10 STRICT POINTS.
EVERY TIME. WITHOUT FAIL.
Watchmakers are
an exacting bunch.
Especially us.

Every watch that leaves our Brooklyn workshop is perfect.

Literally perfect, thanks to the strident courage of a select few watchmakers.

The rest of us, alas, are not built for the destructive attempts required to ensure the horological endurance of an Alexander. Like the carnivore who can’t slice a throat, we are indebted to these fine craftspeople, the brave soldiers of Quality Assurance.

Luckily for them, nearly every one of our watches makes the cut, anyway, thanks to our careful adherence to Swiss-made certification standards.

We do not actually saw the watches.

10 POINTS TO PERFECTION
Serious stuff for watch enthusiasts

  1. Are the case and bracelet scratch and blemish-free?
  2. Does the screw-down crown screw perfectly?
  3. Does the crown reach all stops and control complications?
  4. Do all complications perform flawlessly?
  5. Does the rotating bezel glide smoothly and accurately?
  6. Is the leather strap in perfect condition?
  7. Does water-resistance satisfy its rating?
  8. Do spring-bar pins pass a 3-pound pull?
  9. Are all screws tight?
  10. If requested, is sizing to specification?

After inspection, we send your watch directly to you. If you need anything else, you can always email us.
