La Mode: Fall Accessory Report

We’ve barely scratched the surface of fall, but now is the perfect time for a wardrobe overhaul. Or less drastically, an accessory overhaul. Mixing up your hats and brooches (do people still wear brooches?) is the easiest way to refresh your fall fashion.

If we remember anything from the runways last spring, the fashion world has some interesting choices for us. We pair the hottest fall accessories with our all-time favorite accessory, an Alexander watch.

Actually, leather’s more like it. The number one item we covet for fall is Dior’s leather beret. Ugh, it’s to die for. That fit, that fabric, all those celebrities who’ve worn it!

It’s the ultimate in understated luxury. Luckily, there are more affordable options when it comes to the beret game. They may just not be 100% leather…or Dior.

Match your crown to your wrist with the Roxana AD201 with the black satin strap and black mother-of-pearl dial. As lusciously moody as a black beret, this timepiece shows off your goth side.

Clang Clang Clang Went the Bangles

Chloe debuted these delightful gold bangles with chained heart charms last spring. Reminiscent of our childhood charm bracelets, each bangle, either a graceful solid good, or gourmette chain, comes with adorable engraved hearts charms.

There’s something so timelessly precious about this look. Yet, they are also the hippest bangles we’ve seen in a long time.

How to incorporate a watch with a charm bracelet? Go big or go home. The Olympias A202B in yellow gold stainless steel and stainless steel adds to the chunky look when paired with two of these beauties. A little 80’s, a little now, this wrist combo screams It Girl.

Chokers?!

If you asked us ten years ago, “would you ever wear a choker?” we would vehemently deny ever doing so! These days, we can’t get enough of them. The 2017 versions are elegant, if a little dangerous.

Eddie Borgo’s Safety Chain rhodium-plated choker’s is an art piece for your neck. Wear it with a simple, yet plunging black dress and turn heads all night.

Keep it minimal with just the addition of the Olympias AD202 with the black satin strap and silver dial. These two carefully selected items immediately convey you as woman who means business. And gets what she wants.

Waist Not, Want Not

From Balmain to Isabel Marant, wide, waist cinching belts were all over the fall runways. Used to contain voluminous coats and highlight waists on slip dress, we love the shape and style these big belts add to our fall outfits. This look feels so new and exciting!

Getting started is a bit of a challenge. We recommend starting with a big, black belt over a simple dress, like this look from Rochas. After you’ve mastered the proportions, you can dive into colored belts, big coats, and various textured pieces.

We foresee this being a go-to look for fall into winter. It’s such an easy way to transform your style to ultra contemporary. We recommend pairing it with the most luxurious, classic watch. The Olympias AD202BD in yellow gold and silver dial with diamonds is perhaps our most luxe timepiece. Juxtaposed with your belted outfit, you will look fresh and one-of-a-kind.
